Overview

We are inviting residents, station users, businesses, community groups and stakeholders to share feedback on the emerging plans for the redevelopment of Stockport Railway Station. This consultation is a chance for us to understand how people use the station and surrounding area today. We want to know what works well, what could be improved, and what matters most to local communities and station users as the plans take shape. The proposals are still at an early stage and feedback gathered during this consultation will help inform the next stage of design development.

Some elements of the station and surrounding area are influenced by operational railway requirements and existing infrastructure constraints. While not every suggestion may be possible, all feedback will be carefully reviewed and considered as the project develops further.
